There are pros and cons for every action. Similarly, for Muslims living in western societies, there are certain plus points and there are certain shortcomings, which they need to embrace. Let us talk about education. The education system in majority of western countries is quite brilliant, and it not only offers ample chances for grooming of talented children, but also supports them, which is the best thing about it.
However, as far as Muslims are concerned, educating their children is not confined to equipping their children with the knowledge that can be helpful to them in this world, since belief in the life hereafter is one of the basic requisites of being a Muslim. That is why Muslim parents need to make sure their children also get the best of religious education as well, so that they get to know more about their religion, for living a life according to the principles of Islam.

Provision of religious education, however, in western societies might not be as convenient as it is in countries with Islamic origins. That is why religious education of their offspring has always been one of the most concerned areas for Muslim parents living in western world.
As they say, there is always light at the end of tunnel, so is the case in this situation as well, with the concept of Online Quran education becoming the savior of millions of Muslims living in places where conventional means of religious education are a bit scarce.
This concept has really made Quran learning and Islamic education a universal affair, with people from all parts of the world now able to access internet for seeking more information about Quran and other basic Islamic principles and teachings.

Internet has integrated into every nook and corner of our life, so much so that any space without it seems to be an empty space. It has created an opportunity worldwide for people who want to increase their knowledge about literally any possible thing. In fact, one of the best things about internet is the universal access it grants to its users.

Similar is the case with Online Quran Learning, an innovative concept making it possible for people who want to learn about Quran to equip themselves with this praiseworthy and exalted knowledge. Allah Almighty is the most gracious, most merciful, and most benevolent. Not only has He been the kindest in creating this universe and making humans the best of His creatures to take benefits of every kind from other of His creations, but He has also been gracious enough to guide humans how to do that in the best possible manner.

For that He had been sending His chosen people from time to time, in order for humans to take guidance from them about what Allah Almighty wants them to do. Those chosen and exalted persons are referred as the messengers or prophets of Allah Almighty. Let us see what Allah Almighty tells us in this regard:
Al-Baqara [2:213] Mankind was one single nation, and Allah sent Messengers with glad tidings and warnings; and with them He sent the Book in truth, to judge between People in matters wherein they differed; but the People of the Book, after the clear Signs came to them did not differ among themselves, except through selfish contumacy. Allah by His Grace guided the believers to the Truth concerning that wherein they differed. For Allah guides whom He will to a path that is straight.
This is just one example of the knowledge we get from Quran teaching, since it is the finest source of knowledge ever to be granted to humanity
Al-Araf [7:52] For We had certainly sent unto them a book, based on knowledge, which We explained in detail― a guide and a mercy to all who believe.
That is why Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) also focused so much on Quran learning and quran teaching, as mentioned in the following hadith:
“The best of you is he who has learnt the Qur’an and then taught it.” (Bukhari)

For Muslim parents, it is essential to inculcate Islamic knowledge into the children from a very early age. This is because if you do not familiarize your children with Islam and Quran from an early age, it gets difficult to impart the Islamic belief system into them at a later stage. Therefore, all Muslim parents should introduce their children to Quran learning, Sunnah and Hadith as soon as they become capable of understanding.

If you want to teach Quran and other Islamic teachings to your child, you should plan everything ahead. As soon as your child reaches the age of 8, you should start teaching hadith to him or her as this may prove to be a stepping stone in changing the life of your child. For instance, the following Hadith will force your child to act in a way that pleases Allah Almighty.
“Allah SWT only accepts that act which is only done for him.”
Additionally, Hadith like the following will inform your child about the importance of the month of Ramadan. This will also force your child to worship Allah and seek His forgiveness during the holy month of Ramadan as it is the time when Allah showers His blessings the most.
“When Ramadan Comes the doors of Heaven are opened while doors of hell are closed.”
Moreover, all Muslim children should be aware of the following sayings of the Prophet (PBUH).
“A person who has mercy on others his Rizq is increased.”
“Doing Shirk With Allah is the biggest sin.”
Therefore, if you want your children to be true Muslims and lead a pious life, inculcate Quran teachings into them at a very early age.

Salah refers to prayer and is an important part of the five basic pillars of Islam. In the Holy Quran, Allah has mentioned the importance of Salah more than 500 times. Biologically speaking, offering prayers is also the best form of exercise for human beings. For Muslims, offering prayers five times a day is mandatory. The five prayers of Islam are given below.
- Fajr: Prayed before sunrise

- Zuhr: Afternoon prayer after Zawwal, when the sun is perpendicular to the earth.
- Asar: After afternoon and prior to sunset.
- Maghrib: Just after sunset.
- Isha: Later in the evening when the sunset is done and the darkness of the night is completed.
Offering Salah requires a Muslim to be clean from all aspects. Therefore, before offering Salah, it is essential that the physical self, the surrounding as well as the intent of the individual who offers prayers is clean. Allah does not accept the Salah if the person is not clean regardless of how long he stood praying in front of Allah.
Except for the washroom and the graveyard, all other places of the world can be used to offer Salah. However, men are advised to offer their prayer in mosque along with the congregation. This is far more rewarding than praying alone at your home. However, the teachings are not the same. Muslim women may offer their prayer alone at their homes, in congregation with other women or at the mosque with equal rewards. This does not mean that Islam discriminates between men and women, this only means that Islam gives due respect and consideration to women.
Quran recitation is also an essential aspect of Muslim practices and it should be done regularly by all Muslims. Reciting Quran after prayers seems like the best plan.

It is often believed in our society that Islam does not approve of love marriages. This is why most parents do not appreciate when their children want to marry a person of their own liking. However, it is important to know that liking and loving someone with the intention to marry the person is not wrong and not forbidden in Islam.

Additionally, what affects the teachings regarding love marriage is how intimate the relationship between both parties is. If they have committed sin and have crossed the limits that have been defined by Allah, such a relationship is not encouraged and appreciated in Islam.
The Prophet (PBUH) said,
“We do not think that there is anything better for those who love one another than marriage.” (Narrated by Ibn Maajah, 1847; classed as saheeh by al-Busayri and by Shaykh al-Albaani in al-Silsilah al-Saheehah, 624)
The hadith shows that the Prophet believed that if a man and a woman like each other, their bond grows stronger with relationship like marriage. Therefore, there is nothing wrong in linking someone with the intention to marry if you stay within the limits defined by Allah and the religion.
When compared with arranged marriages, it can be said that love marriages hold a stronger and tighter bond between the parties. However, arranged marriages are also stable and have high success rates as well. This is because when parents arrange a marriage, they make sure that they have selected the best and most suitable person for their child.
Therefore, it is not wrong to chose the girl or the boy you want to marry by your own liking. Allah and the religion allow this. However, the limits set by Allah in the Holy Quran should not be forgotten.

In Islamic history, masjids or mosques have played a significant role to spread the Islam where religious, social, and political issues usually perfectly blended together. Masjids played a vital role for men’s political, social, religious, and moral uplift in the Muslim communities. Quran School is the biggest part of it where professional Quran teachers teach to kids and younger men and women. If we talk about the later period that was after Khilafat-e- Rashida, there were first four caliphs who faced the decline period about political preeminence of Muslims due to breakdown under foreign rules.
In the same way, masjids played the vigorous and energetic role in the life of the Ummah in the phase of our prophet (pbuh) and caliphs was reduced to a place of rituals and worship. It is therefore of supreme significance that the current concept of the role of masjids be analyzed and redefined in the light of its unique idea and function in the days of the Prophet and in the background of the present needs of the Muslim community.
The concept is totally changed now the social life of Muslims has been dispersed in masjids as there are different names of masjids that forbid other people or sects to enter in the specific Masjid like Masjid Hanfiah, Masjid Gausia, and Masjid Ahle-Hadith etc. Islam never welcomes the division towards Allah and Quran School guide us to study the functions and role of the masjids to see the real picture and purpose of Masjid in Islam.
