If the website is not properly optimized, then if the ads somehow manage to direct a customer to the website, the customer will not be able to find the desired information, because of the ill management of the landing page. Therefore, a well-optimized website can add to the advantages a business gains from a PPC campaign.
In short, if a business wants to achieve success in online arena, then it needs to apply SEO tactics in combination with PPC strategies.
