Currently, our client is looking for Senior Naval Architect on permanent bases. The job will involve naval architectural analyses and project management as part of the companies growing and varied workload.  Our client is providing global capability in complex Marine Operations and offshore engineer jobs. They have offices based in Aberdeen, Newcastle and London and have established a recognized expertise in Marine, DP and Engineering consultancy.

Experience in the following would be an advantage:

• Riser and Mooring analysis
• Vessel motion studies
• Multi-body Dynamic analyses

The ideal candidate will have:

• 10 years relevant engineering background and a proven track record in a similar field
• Preferably degree in Naval Architecture and with chartered status would be beneficial but not essential
• Good understanding of first principle hydrodynamics with knowledge of industry software packages such as Orcaflex, Freecom/Flexcom would be beneficial
